Scotch Eggs

Ingredients:



      1 egg       
      ¼ teaspoon pepper
      6 eggs, hard-boiled then peeled
      ½ kilo ground beef
      3 slices ham, finely chopped tablespoons finely chopped onions
      ½ teaspoon salt
      1 tablespoon Maya all-purpose flour
      1 teaspoon salt
      ½ teaspoon pepper
      1 egg, beaten with
      1 tablespoon water
       breadcrumbs
       oil for frying

Procedure:


Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat eggs with this. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, ham onions, egg, salt and pepper. Divide into 6 portions. Coat each egg with the ground beef. Roll in beaten egg and dredge with breadcrumbs. Deep fry until golden brown. To serve, cut in half lengthwise.
