Pinipig Ukoy

Ingredients:


1 cup unpeeled small shrimps
     1 cup pinipig
     1 onion, chopped    
     1 cup kalabasa strips
     1/3 cup cornstarch
     1/3 cup Maya all-purpose flour
     1/3 cup wat
     Oil for frying

Procedure:

Heat oil in a frying pan. In a bowl, combine the kalabasa, shrimps, pinipig and onion. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch, flour and water. Add to kalabasa mixture. Drop by spoonful’s into the hot oil. Fry until browned. Drain. Serve with a sauce of vinegar and garlic.
